Default Image controll shows icon not pic

Hi, I have a bound picture on a form. In the properties box under data display type I have content selected, not Icon, yet all I get is the icon when in form view. The pic is a jpg.
Any help would be appreaciated.
Thanks
Raif

Thanks for your interest. For this issue I am just using the Access GUI for a local .mdb file.
