I have an application that the Startup option was changed. How can I reset it back so I can re-set the changes made?

Try holding down the shift key when opening the application. If it hasn't been disabled, it should bypass the startup options.

Once in the application, go to Tools>Startup... and make your changes there.

Sorry, the changes made in the Tools>Startup also changed the options in the menubar as weel as the toolbar. That is the reason why we are trying to re-set the default option of MS Access. Do you have any idea how to re-set the MS Access defaul menus?

Were you able to get into the database design view? As far as any options that are set in addition to the startup menu, did you check any modules that might be changing any other Access properties?

To answer your question, No, that is exactly what I want to do. So that I can change the Tools>Startup options back to the way they were before the options were modified.

The only thing I can think of is to create a new blank database, then import all tables, forms, queries, reports etc. into the new database.
Then change the start up options, delete the old one and rename the new one back to the original name.
