Default serial communication using VB 2005

hi,i have confronting a problem tat regarding how to make use of serial communication....I don'y know how to set up the thing...which toolbox should i drag n drop into my form...(i using visual basic 2005)
i need to use 2 pcs and they are connecting with a serial cable and one side as receiver(using VB code) while the other side is as using the hyper terminal as sender....how do i do????i really got no idea ald coz i just starting with VB ...can someone help?thanks..
