Default DB Backup

Can anyone tell me that How can I take the Backup of an MySQL Database and store it on Disk...I want this to be done Programetically in VB.NET-ASP.NET application.

What are you asking?? Are you asking if you can write an application to interface with MySQL and invoke it to backup X database or are you asking how to move the .SQL file around the FileSystem?
