Default ASP.net login page in C# in 2.0

HI, I am trying to create a simple login page in 2.0. I have trying to use the Login Control available in the 2.0 Framework. But I do noty understand how to get the user info from the sql database. I was trying to use the Website administration tool.but in my machine I could not load that.
I was wondering what was the alternative to connect to the dtabase and get the login piece working.

Thank you very much.

What all have you tried, what errors are you getting, what does your code look like associated with the login function?

As Imar said in a previous post:
For the benefit of the archive of this forum, would you mind telling us how you solved it?

More specifically could you explain what your problem a bit better and what the resolution ended up being?

Ok, so I was trying to use the Login feature available in .Net 2.0, and i was trying to use Web administration tool to do the database connectivity.
But I could not use the Web Administration tool as that option was not available in my computer. Therefore , I tried to do the connectivity with the SQL server by writing down the code.
And it worked.
Let me know, if you have any further questions.
Thanks for all the support
