I am having a problem building the code that came in the end directory of chapter 3 of Beginning ASP.NET 2.0 with C#. When I try to build the code I get the following error:

It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

I thought I was using the VWD internet server instead of the IIS. Can anyone lead me through correcting this problem? Thanks for all help in advance.

   i was having same problem few days ago i read ur topic that time i did`nt had solution but now i have the solution. it is very simple
 what u have to do is open wroxunited directory in chapter 3 directory then the code will be built.
don`t just open chapter3 directory. In chapter 3 there is wrox united directory and we have to open that.
same procedure is to be followed in some other chapters also because u will be faced with this problem in other chapters also.
one more thing the correct forum for ur book is forum_id=225
not this so post ur topics in forum 225 which is for this book BEGINING ASP.NET with C#.
