Regsrv32 would be the manual way of loading a COM component on a machine, however, for what you are trying to do you will probably have to create and ActiveX control.

Needing the Javascript will determine how you write the control. (In the example I gave you in a previous post, the Javascript was necessary for THAT COM control, it is not something you will necessarily need for all com controls.)

Dear friend,

Let's say i already register the DLL (ACR120.dll) in client machine,

but how we can call the DLL in javascript, and how to add its events ?

i try to use object tag to call the DLL, but it does not work....
........
<OBJECT id="osControl" height="88" width="440" data="data:application/x-oleobject;base64,IGkzJfkDzxGP0ACqAGhvEzwhRE9DVFlQR SBIVE1MIFBVQkxJQyAiLS8vVzNDLy9EVEQgSFRNTCA0LjAgVHJ hbnNpdGlvbmFsLy9FTiI+DQo8SFRNTD48SEVBRD4NCjxNRVRBI Gh0dHAtZXF1aXY9Q29udGVudC1UeXBlIGNvbnRlbnQ9InRleHQ vaHRtbDsgY2hhcnNldD13aW5kb3dzLTEyNTIiPg0KPE1FVEEgY 29udGVudD0iTVNIVE1MIDYuMDAuMjkwMC4zMDU5IiBuYW1lPUd FTkVSQVRPUj48L0hFQUQ+DQo8Qk9EWT4NCjxQPiZuYnNwOzwvU D48L0JPRFk+PC9IVE1MPg0K"
classid=file:///C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\EventACR120\DLL\ACR120.dll name="osControl" VIEWASTEXT>
</OBJECT>
.........

could you pls help in giving sample of calling this DLL in JavaScript (client side ) ???

Tks,
hendy

=============================================
in C# code (windows app), it's easy...
...
private ACR120DLL.ACR120DLL _ACR ;
private System.Timers.Timer Timer1 ;
private ArrayList alData = new ArrayList();
ACR120DLL.ACR120DLL.AddListHandler _AddListHandler;

_ACR = new ACR120DLL.ACR120DLL ();
_ACR.TotalBlocks = 44;
_AddListHandler = new ACR120DLL.ACR120DLL.AddListHandler(AddList);
_ACR.AddList += _AddListHandler ;
_ACR.Connect();
Timer1 = new System.Timers.Timer();
Timer1.Elapsed +=new System.Timers.ElapsedEventHandler (TriggerReadData);
Timer1.Interval = 1000;
Timer1.AutoReset = true;
Timer1.Start();
......
private void AddList(string Msg)
{
    if (Msg.EndsWith("-3030"))
    {
        MessageBox.Show("Ada kesalahan ! Mohon diulangi proses pembacaan kartu !");
        _ACR.AddList-= _AddListHandler;
        DisposeObjectReader();
        InitReader();
        return;
    }
    List1.Items.Add(Msg);
}

...........

Thank you,
hendy

You are not understanding me. The javascript in my example DOES NOT implement the COM component, it merely works with the COM control to capture an array of points. You will only use Javascript if your COM Control requires it for something.
