Default How do I forcefully opne the save dialog box

Hi

I am doing ASP.NET 2.0 programming. In a web page, I have a link to download a file. When I click on the link, the browser is bring up the open / save dialog box. I want to forcefully open the Save dialog box. How do I do that?

I can have any type of file to be downloaded. We have a hyperlink control that initiates the download process.

Waiting for your reply.

Thanks
Janakiraman

This is a behavior of the browser and not of your application. AFAIK there is no way to override the Open/Save dialog and instead display the Save dialog.
