Default Help with setting up PHP with apache2 on windows

I am currently running Apache2 on windows 2000 with MySql. The problem I am having is getting PHP installed (php4.3.3) and working with Apache2. I have updated the php.ini file as per the install.txt file. The only thing I could not do is add the PHP module to the httpd.conf file. There is no libphp4.so file in the modules directory or in the PHP directory any where. This seem to be the only thing that is holding me up. Is there something I missed??

Thanks for the help.

Hello,
I think you must be reading the UNIX instructions, since a on Windows, you should be looking for something with a .exe (executable) or .dll (dynamic link library) file extension. These instructions here, may be of some assistance:

http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.windows.php

It's a long time since I used Windows, myself, so I'm afraid I can't be of any further assistance.
