Default function

hi all:)
sometime inside a function we use "doevents". what is the use of this ?
explain please

You can find the answer to this in help . . .

When code is running, various other things the computer might be doing don't take place--it's busy...

An example is updating a form with the results of the calculations happening inside a loop. Putting DoEvents in the code instructs VB to suspend calculations for a moment, and to give control to the computer to update the screen, and so forth.

hi there.. just to enlighten you a little more, doevents gives the control back to the O.S. to execute any pending operation in the queue of events.
