Hello Friends!!!

     I have made a program which is calculating 1000 rows. I have put number of row in "STATUS BAR" which is currently being calculated and its being displayed fine...

     Problem is if in the mean while of processing if I click anywhere out of program window then there is a message is displaying in my application "TITLE BAR" that "NOT RESPONDING" but process is still running there is not effect in process but number or rows which were being displayed in "STATUS BAR" are stopped and when the program is completed then all is fine itself.

    Anyone can tell me the reason....plssss

hi there..

It's a simple problem.. since you are procesing and not responding to outside events, Windows try to access your process, it can't and then it put the process at not responding even if it's doing something...
to avoid this you can use a do events every once in a while to respond to foreign events...
