Default Win98 VB Prog. need to run under WinXP

I have a program which works with RS-232 serial port to do
data acquisition. The device has two analog inputs and two
analog output channels, each with 12-bit resolution.

It works well in the Win98 environment but the program
can’t get the data from the device if it running under WinXP,
even I don’t change anything of the program.

Any one plz tell me what I need to do? Change the program?
I look forward for your reply, thanks for your time.

Ronda
