Default BugBase: .CCS question

I changed the last line of the #Content .css directive to:

#Content
{
    ...
    height: auto;
}

This allows the context box to grow and shrink for report when you hide and show search criteria. (The entire report is within the context box.) This change works fine for I.E. but Firefox seems to ignore the directive. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Bob

Hi there,

I am not sure I understand what you're trying to accomplish. Can you elaborate a bit?

I just tried the change, but I couldn't see a difference in IE7. What version og IE are you trying this on?

Imar,
You are right, there is no problem with IE7. The problem occurs in Firefox 1.5.0.8. In Firefox, the borders of Content remain a fixed height and never "grows" with when addition content is added (mainly in the Maintenance content items).

The problem in Firefox is corrected if you add the line:

height: auto;

to the #Content directive in the .css file.

Hope this helps.

I wasn't (and still am) not sure whether you were asking something, or suggesting something. Your first post suggest it doesn't work in FireFox, while your last post seems to suggest that the same code does work in FireFox.

AFAIK, there was no height defined on #Content, so it's supposed to grow automatically.

If you still have issues with this, can you please describe the situation and your question in more detail?

Cheers,

Imar
