Hi Guys,

Could you people look at into this matter.I'm getting theis error while debugging the BUGBase Webapplication

D:\My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Projects\BugBase\BugBase\Web.config(23): Build (web): It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

This sounds like a misconfiguration of IIS.

Is the folder that holds Web.config the root of the site? That is, did you assign :\My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Projects\BugBase\BugBase\ as the root of your site and do you browse to it as http://localhost?

Did you use the installer that comes with the book???

Next Next Finish and it should work.....

If not, how did you set up the site now?

Look at page 435 for more instructions.....
