Default Difference Between Hosted & Local Execution

I've copied everything up to my hosting site and it matches exactly what's on my local site/pc (except of course for the LocalSQLServer definition which I edit before recopying the web.config file up to the hosted site).

Locally, the WelcomeBox.ascx works as expected.

Hosted, I get a blank white box where the centercol content should be.

I've looked at the View Source and it IS different, but the hosting vendor can;t help me determine why the centercol content doesn't show.

Any ideas, hints, places to start? I can't remotely debug step-by-step execution, so I'm not sure how to determine the cause. They do support ASP.NET 2.0 and above (and below) versions, so it's not that, and I cpied my local db up with the Microsoft tool, although this shouldn't be a db issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Wow - thanks for the rapid and accurate help jimi - really appreciated! And now if we can just get me a brain graft to learn more so I can take this to where some of the other sites based on this have led. Some great examples of taking this framework to great places. Hope I can do the same.

Thanks again!
