Default Unable to get the project file from web server

I`ve downloaded the source code from that book. I `ve modyfied the necessary piece of code, and create the solution and It run well in windows 2000. But when I try to do the same in another PC with XP Pro with SP2, when I try to open the project I get the message " Unable to get the project file from web server ".
I read the others posts in this forum, but I have not got the solution to my problem!
Please, help,

You need to install IIS with the FrontPage Server Extensions. This isn't needed by the website for the 2nd edition, but all ASP.NET 1.x apps need this.

i `ve IIS with the FrontPage Server Extensions and I `ve checked the server extensions to confirm !!!

I guess you're saying that you still have the problem. If this is true, then your virtual directory isn't set up right. VS tries to load your site at development time using FPSE to access the virtual directory. Look at your project file with Notepad to see what virtual directory it's trying to hit, then make sure you've set that up for IIS.
