Default Logging a user off the site

Hi All,

Some assistance required if possible please.

I have completed Chapter 17 (bgnig asp.net1.1) and have come accross the problem that when the user does not click the log out button but closes the window they are not logged out and subsequently when the site is loaded again the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" I want to be able to log the user out or at least stop this error from occuring.

Any help or further information would be most appreciated.

Regards,
hutchy.
