Default I want to start the try out's in VS2005 professional edition and Sql sqerver 2005

Hi,
everybody , I need your help. I have Visual Studio 2005 professsional edition and Sql server 2005 installed in my office machine. But I am confuse how to starrt the try out sections given in the book, because in Apendix B the details have been given for VWD express edition and sql server express edition. So please help me to sort out the problem.

Hi there,

What exactly do you need help with? Many people on this forum don't have the book, so they may not be able to help you out without a bit more detail.

Also, you *could* install the Express editions as well (you can install them side by side). That way, it'll be a lot easier to follow the book. ASP.NET (and thus probably the examples in the book) assumes a local SQL Server called SqlExpress and you'll run into problems if your SQL Server instance is called differently.

Hi,
Imar. Thanks for your help frnd. The links that U provided were very helpful. By the way, I have re-Installed Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. Now I have found that the SQL server's version is express edition in that. So now its ok.
