Default MasterPages no design view

Hello,

I don't know if this is the place to post this, because i'm not sure if it is en general VS 2008 thing or something that goes wrong in the code.

It has been a while since i started in this book. In the mean while i have a different computer and wanted to go further where i was. So i downloaded the code and started again in chapter 9. But it seems that i have no design view at the pages wich are using the masterpage. I have made another test project and there it works. I did all the excersises about the base page again, but still no luck. After that I repaired VS 2008 nothing, finally i reinstalled VS 2008, still no design view.

I also downloaded the code at my office and tried it there, also no design view.

On the internet i can only find some design view troubles with nested masterpages. If it isn't in the code no problem, but i don't know where to look so i'll started here to be sure it is or isn't in the code.
Or do i have to complete an earlier excersise to let it work??

Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris,

Do you have the same problem with the source that comes with the book?

If you want, I can take a look at this and try to figure out what's wrong. Send me an e-mail through my personal web site (http://imar.spaanjaars.com/Contact.aspx). I'll reply so you know my address and then you can send me a zipped version of the site.

Cheers.

Imar

Imar solved my problem

After some troubleshooting Imar came up with the solution.
The problem was that I had a hash in my path (I linked to a path where one directory was called C#)
