Sorry to bother you again But, I have started to do the masterpages chapter and when I write in the code and add the styles sheet it does not act as the figure 6.2 shows in design view. yet it will show in the browser Why?

Hi there,

Can you be more specific? What do you see in Visual Studio and what does your code look like? Also, did you set one of the themes in the web.config file?

Thank you for your response, I seem to have this difficulty when I reach this section. and I try to clear the site and start again. maybe I am too old to try this but I enjoy it as it keeps me active and I am determined to do it. Please be patient with me as I am also disabled and as I said I enjoy your book. the error's I get are not as bad as I thought but I am now doing the base page and following instructions and when I go to cont+shift+H to change the other pages to base page I get the message System.Web.UI.Page cannot be found? please tell me what I am doing wrong or how Can I clear the site and start again. please bear with me thank you

If by "clear the site" you mean start over, then I don't think that's necessary. And you're never too old..... ;-)

Are you sure that Look In is set to Entire Solution? It may be set to Current Document which would cause that message if the current page doesn't have that text.
Or maybe you already replaced all occurrences?
