Wow, this was really frustrating. I'm using Windows 7 and Visual Studio 2013. I had a lot of trouble getting the cmd string correct but when I finally did I got the same two "Registered" messages, nothing more and the cmd window seemed to freeze. Nevertheless I went to the chrome browser and entered the appropriate url. I got an error message from Google and a list of sites with similar URLs the first been chapter 16 from Imar's book. Ok after trying again and again I finally went to bed. Today I started all over again and eventually migrated to the forum and your post. After a number of attempts I finally got back to the two "Registered" statements. This time when I entered the appropriate url in chrome, low and behold, there was the "Welcome" message for the tool and everything worked as stated. I have no idea as to why this was so difficult but agree with one of the responders on a Google search page concerning accessing the Web Site Application Tool: "The Visual Studio Team; What a bunch of morons!"
