We were successfully able to manage different roles and edit users following the steps in ch.16 and 17.
My question is:
How can we do the same when our site is online?
for example users are logging in or signing up, where can I find the list of users and manage their roles?
In chapter 16 we opened the WSAT from VS, but how would the WSAT be connected with the host and see the new users and be able to manage them, I searched the book but did not find some tips about it.

Any help? what should I do or where should I search?

Hi there,

One option is to copy the data over to the remote database as explained in Chapter 19.

Alternatively, you can create the users programmatically using the security API or look into (commercial) online WSAT alternatives: https://www.google.nl/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=...at+alternative Unfortunately, ASP.NET doesn't have a good solution out of the box to manage users.
