I save the theSoccerSite template as some ASP file, then I use the Insert
 ->Application Object-> Update Record or Insert Record menus to the editable content region of this file. I always got an error saying the region is not accessible. The only way to fix the error is to apply Modify -> Template -> Detach from Template to this file, then redo the update or insert record again. Is there anyway to update or insert a record and still keep the template attached to the file?
Modify->Templates->Update Current Page will not fix the error.

What version of Dreamweaver are you using? Did you apply the latest service packs for Dreamweaver?

And which version of the book are you using?
