Default Preview using f12 for Chapter 2 web site

I have started using the book Dreamweaver MX. I used the files in your download to make my first web page in the assignment in Chapter 2. I put the page together and pressed f12 to test the page in Explorer and ctrl f12 to test it in Netscape 7.1. The page only shows some red x's where the the images are supposed to appear. The rest of the site is white. So in short, the page isn't showing very much.

Any suggestions?

Hi there,

(I was on holiday for a while, so I haven't been able to respond earlier.)

In case you haven't found out yet: I think you'll need to upload the images and other related files to the testing / remote server. To do this, right click your site definition in the Sites panel and choose Put. This will upload all the files in your site to the server, so they can be viewed in the browser.

Hi,

You need to synchronize the site contents. By doing that all the images you
have added on those pages are copied into you remote folder also and when
you preview the page using F12 key or browse the page, it will show all the
images as well.
