Hi, Ive just started my website and I have two questions:

1) Ive created forms and in the properties I don't know what to put in the "actions" blank. Is it possible for me to make one up or to i have to contact my ISP. I plan on the info from the survey to go to an email.

2) The cursor to type text is locked in the middle of my screen and I can't move it up to the top to type. What is wrong and what should i do. Tnx

The action attribute is used to indicate a page where you want to send the form to. Usually, this is a page with server side logic that does something useful, like sending the form's contents by e-mail.
There are many different server side technologies, including ASP.NET, ASP, PHP and JSP. Which one you can use depends on your ISP, but depends much more on what you're willing or able to learn. (It's much easier to switch ISPs than it is to learn a completely new language).

Search the Wrox books collection for the word Beginning and the technologies I mentioned and you'll find a number of books that can help you.

If you already have the book Beginning Dreamweaver MX / MX 2004 then take a look at the interactive section, starting at chapter 6 (interaction and forms) and 7 (adding logic to pages).

I am not sure I understand the other problem. Are you by any chance using templates? In that case, certain elements of the page are locked....
