Default New Beginning Java for v1.5 ?

When can we expect to see a revised version of the book for Java v1.5? I know the release date for 1.5 is not known, but will the book be in sync or quite a while after the release? I own the book but there appears to be enough new in v1.5 that I should buy a new v1.5 copy.

Ivor Horton's Beginning Java2 SDK1.4 is just fresh on the bookshelves and you are already asking for the 1.5?

And I would like to add this question: is the Sun SDK 1.5 BETA version that just came out a definitive version?
What does BETA mean?

Fresh off the bookshelves? I've had my copy for at least a year. In computer time, that's forever. Since v1.5 is tentatively scheduled for summer 2004, I just wanted to know if the book updates would follow at the same time.

Alpha testing is what the developers do during the SDLC, they then deploy a beta version for evaluation. This beta version may be changed if any major errors are discovered.

Cheers

Aha! 1500 pages now? XML and JDBC? Fine, fine...

Could it be Wiley needs my carefully annotated book ERRATA, before publishing the SDK1.5 version in September???????

I wrote Ivor through Wiley, if someone needed my improvements on the book, but no reply..
What is the matter with the internet? No no no reply everywhere nowadays, and this forum is dead already, while there are 150000 wonderful Beginning Java2 books around on this planet.
Who reads them? Who is typing over the code? Who is doing the exercises?

I am.
