Hey, first time poster here and PHP rookie...

Working with:

Apache 2 Server on remote host
PHP Version 5.2.3-1ubuntu6.5

MYSQL 5.0

Issue:

Got the code on pg's 204 & 205 to upload to both image_table and directory folder...and change gifs and png's images to jpg's...and return to browser as it should as stated in the book. All seems good until I try to fool the code by uploading something other than a jpg, gif or png, .txt file for example. Upon submit, I return about 10 lines of error with NO Sorry, go back and try again lines of text. I've got the code as in the book and have noticed that if I change: if ($type > 3) on page 204 to <3 .....I finaly get the Sorry, go back and try again lines of text on the next page. It appears like the file type integer keys on page 201 don't seem to be filtering out non acceptable file types...IS IT JUST ME???

Any suggestions, cures or similar experiences???...Thanks, BakoArt
