Default Ch12 TextEditor p668

I compiled it and ran it. It looks right, but there's no curser, and I can't type text into it.
It was a simple 2 minute job to create it. Have I missed some code I should have added or changed?
What could I be doing wrong?
Where is the code located that should create a cursor & allow me to write?

Thanks

tony
