Default Recommend a Book...

There are several books out there on SQL Server Reporting Services. Can y'all recommend any that you've found to be espescially helpful?

I'm big on books w/ examples w/ solid step by step instructions. Are there any good ones out there?

Of course I'm biased so we'll get that out of the way first.

The Wrox Professional SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services book is a second edition of the 2000 product edition from three years ago. It is largely written from lessons learned and real-world experience by the four authors who live day-to-day using Reporting Services for consulting projects. I wrote four chapters on report design. Chapters 4 & 5 will be similar to some existing beginning level books. Chapter 6 contains material you may find in part in some of the more advanced books. I'm not aware of any other book that contains advanced report design techniqes and examples I've included in chapter 7 (report design patterns and recipes - 90 pages.) You will not find this material by presing F1. Many step-by-stap walk-throughs and all of the reports, queries and code are available on this site.

Thank you sir! I've used the Wrox series of books/guides before, and have been pleased with the information they contain and the manner in which the information is imparted on the reader. I posted here hoping to have a few options to request via the requisite channels here in my office. I appreciate you taking the time to reply, and I will do my best to coax the ol' bossman into letting me pick up the Wrox copy.
