Hello there.

I have installed IIS and i am trying to open a Visual Interdev project. However after inserting the server name, i am being asked for a name and password.

What does that mean? how do i configure my local host to be able to open a Visual Interdev project properly and work with it?

Have you checked if you have basic authentication specified? If so I believe it will ask you for your user name and password. To get around this, switch your project folder to anonymous authentication.

when i inserting the server name error message server not found..but i'm using localhost IIS also i install...

when it ask server name enter " localhost "
it will your server name, when you using IIS.
