Connect Outlook to a web site

I am not sure if I would post this problem in this section or not.

Is there a way to connect a web site to an Outlook Calendar. It would have the same purpose as a database. That is, you could make changes to the calendar to add/delete an event and the site would automatically update to reflect these changes. If there is, please let me know where I can get some help.
