About Next function

I have the next statement that comparer the actual value with the next

if {TTX_SKUSAUTMAE_ttx.ITEM}<>next({TTX_SKUSAUTMAE_tt x.ITEM})
then TRUE
else FALSE

I want to do the same but now comaparing the actual value with the preview, can any one help me pleases!!!!!:(
