Crystal XI export issue

I want to export a Crystal report (in any format- use ex. .pdf format))from a web application. I get an error- 'Crystal Viewer error'. I believe there is a conflict issue with the Acrobat reader and the Crystal viewer.

can anyone advise on solution?
