E-mail Address Changes

Hi,

I just recently updated my e-mail address. The reason being that I'm a bit angry that Angelfire must've filtered out the message concerning my post on the ASP Web How-To forum. So then, I changed my e-mail to my MATC Student E-mail in hopes that I would not have the above descibed problem again. My question is this: Is there any reason we have to confirm our e-mail address after we know we've changed it? I mean, come on, I'm the only one who can access my account here and no one else knows my login information (except maybe the database that runs P2P:D)

I'd really appreciate it if someone would clear this up.

What is there to "clear up"? That's the way the system works.

By confirming you email address you're ensuring that you in fact entered a valid, working email.

I think that collectively we need to focus a bit more on using the forums to support our fellow programmers and be a little less concerned about the inner workings of the P2P forums.
