There are actually 2 windows that popup. I want to make sure you are seeing both.
"Do you really want to Unsubscribe?" with "OK" and "Cancel" buttons.
Clicking "OK" will open the unsubscribe application in a popup window. This window will contain a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed with the message "Subscription Canceled".
If you're not seeing the second window with the confirmation, then I suspect your browser is blocking the popup - and thus the unsubscribe. Try disabling the popup window blocking in your browser (or at least add "p2p.wrox.com" as an allowed domain if you can).
If you are seeing the popup with "Subscription Canceled", then there is some other problem going on.
Lastly, failing these other solutions, you can let me know which of your subscriptions you want to unsubscribe and I'll take care of it for you.
