.net 2.0 and .net 2.0 beta
Can 2.0 and 2.0 beta coexist in the same machine? I just downloaded and installed the 2.0(non-beta) before the installation of VWD along with 2.0 beta. The VWD didn't work anymore. Any clue?

Oh, yes, you can use VWD and 2.0. Just be sure you are using the RTMs of both and that you go through the uninstall to get all the beta pieces off before installing the RTMs.

Sorry. rtm=release-t0-manufacturing. That's the actual final release version of the software, non-beta. If you are an MSDN Universal subscriber, I think you have access to the Express Edition RTMs now. If not, you have to wait to the official release date next Monday, Nov 7.
See:

"The English versions of the Visual Studio 2005 Express Editions are available on November 7th. "

The VWD installation for me searched my computer and told me I had to uninstall before continuing, so it doesn't look like it will install at all without uninstalling first...

I was also told that if you had problems with the beta 2 release, you may also have problems with the final, which will be the case for me. I'm not looking forward to a reimage.
