Default Lotus Notes in VB.NET

I am using Interop.Domino reference to send an email using VB.NET. I getting the following error in AppendItemValue method of Lotus Notes Document.

Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

Please help me.

You'll be wanting to find a Lotus Notes forum then, rather than a .Net one I think.
