Default pear soap timeout

require_once('SOAP/Client.php'); 
$wsdl=new SOAP_WSDL('http://site.us/CarRentalQuotes?wsdl');
?>
How can I increase the timeout period of the above object ?

Can you be more specific? I'm not familar with this particular PEAR package. Do you want to grant the script more execution time? Generally speaking that's a bad idea, but it can be done.

ini_set('max_execution_time', $int_amount_in_seconds);

more time for the WSDL to fetch and exec the webservice

You'd probably have better luck asking this question on the PEAR-GENERAL mailing list located at: [email protected]. You can subscribe to this list if you'd like at http://pear.php.net/support.php. Asking there you might even get help from the author of the package which would be better than me trying to guess.
