Default Connect to MSSQL without PHP Library

HI Everyone,

I'm hoping someone out there has an answer to this...

I am developing an application with PHP and MySQL. The problem is that the database needs to be populated from an MSSQL database periodically - It's a real estate site and the MLS provider users SQL Server.

Does anyone know of a way to create a connection to a SQL Server instance without having access to any of the MSSQL functions in PHP? All I need are just simple SELECT queries to be returned...

The hosting server is currently loaded with PHP 4.4 if that helps

Thanks

Mike
