I am getting the following error message

Connection failed to open.

Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection. at System.Data.SqlClient.ConnectionPool.GetConnection (Boolean& isInTransaction) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnectionPoolManager.Get PooledConnection(SqlConnectionString options, Boolean& isInTransaction) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection.Open() at ASP.sql_connection_aspx.Page_Load()

looks like you are logged into a domain and the server you are trying to connect is not part of the domain. Go to the Primary Domain Controller and add the server you are trying to connect to and add it to the domain.
