Default Problem Installing vb app on windows 98

I had developed a project on windows 2000 prof. It runs well on 2000,win xp but it fails on win 98 .I tried testing the source code on 98 . I found many of the funnctions like mid ,format etc were not working ,even my user defined functions are not working .But the same code is working perfectly on 2000.Any ideas where i am wrong .or am i missing some essential files.

standard functions works on all systems, because they are inside the vb6 dll.. you probably are having other problems.. could you be more specific of what if happening?? maybe a problem with regional settings??

that's problem occurs when you have not update the dll's on the target system. probably you compile with once that are newer that the target system and you didn't send it on your installer...
