Default How do you get a users Network login ID

In vb6 I used the advapi32.dll. However I am almost certain that there is some functionality that is built into vb.net to get this info.

Send a message via Yahoo to eelisMX

System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity.GetCurre nt.Name
also returns a 'Domain\UserName' string where you can easily parse the UserName login ID.
