Default DBnetlib error message

I have got this error message "[dbnetlib][ConnectionOpen (PreLoginHandshake()).]General network error. Check your network documentation."

when trying to access to my SQL server.. this happen when i had change domain name on my sql server to a new one. Whenever i shutdown the old domain server, clients would not be able to connect to the SQL server.. When i start up the old domain, there isn't any problem for the clients to connect to the server.
