Default [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server

I have an app that has run under Citrix to a backend database on a remote SQL 2000 server. All Works fine with Citrix.

I am changing to RDP into the same box (Terminal Server) to the Same SQl Server with the same user as Citrix but it gives the error in the Subject line.

I can log in to the Terminal Server at the console with the same user and it works.

Where can I look to resolve this problem.
