What tool are you using to try to access this database? VB, VB.net, ASP, Access, Enterprise manager, etc.?

I'd double-check your permissions with the DBA again. That shouldn't be happening.

sal,
What I am trying to do is, via the ODBC (for Windows) I want to contact to SQL server 2000 database and, when I connect to the DB I found only 5 DB's (Slandered DB) while the total DB's are 10.

bmains,
I have got the Administrator user name and password.

I found the problem.... I found the problem....

The problem was the PORT number (How)?
In most cases when you install SQL sever it assign a port # 1433 and I my case this port number was resolved for other application.

So What,

When you try to connect to the DB by ODBC from you PC you must change the port# for your SQL sever connection.

And this is was the problem.
