Default Deletion of a created database in sql server

Hello,

After installing Visual Studio.NET, I installed the SQL Server 2000
Desktop Engine so I could practice writing some SQL database programs in VB.NET. I created a number of databases through Server Explorer either by adding a new database to the SQL Server Instances node or the Data Connections Node. Now, I want to delete several of these SQL databases.
I am able to delete a database from the Data Connections Node, but when I do, it stays in the SQL Server Instances node. Does anyone know how to delete the database from the Instances node? Thanks.
