Default Slooooowwwwww server startup

Hi all,

Why is it taking longer, and looonger, and loooooonger to open the database node on my instance. I have about 15 user databases but they are all small (1-5 megish). My master db is the largest file (11 MG). Largest log file is about 5 mg. I was thinking maybe some log file somewhere is filling up and needs to be purged, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Besides, it just gets slower, and slooower, and sloooooower whether I add new databases or not. Just took 1.5 minutes to open the node. What is causing this annoying phenomenon?

Thanks

Bob
