Default Content Management Theory

Hi All

I am having sleepless nights at the moment racking my brain over 1 question… I know there are a few CMS pros out there…

I am working on a project that requires approximately 1500 html pages to be both available to browse and search. The average size of each page is under 13k and the largest is 260k (only a hand full).

The question is – Should I store the html page content in a SQL Server database or should I only store a reference of the file location… Ideally in a database would be preferable for me.

I don’t have a great deal of experience dealing with the amount of content I am dealing with and don’t want to develop something that will run like a sweaty pig… nothing wrong with pigs though.

Many thanks in advance!

Rit
