I bought this book "Professional ASP.NET Web Services"[ISBN 1-861005-45-8] and tried to look up the codes at www.wrox.com. Surprise, surprise, the book is not even listed. Can anyone or WROX tell me where to find this information. I hate wild goose chasing!!

ps: I reviewed both the wrox site and the other site and still cannot find an answer.
If wrox does not want to answer this question for any reason, at least they should scratch out the instruction on the back cover regarding downloading the code.

"old" Wrox went down about a year ago. Some books were bought by Wiley (including the brand name Wrox), others were bought by APress.
If the book is not on the Wrox list, it is now an APress book. Check out this page for the code for APress books: http://support.apress.com/

Since the books were already in warehouses and shops when Wrox went down, it's pretty hard to remove the instructions from all those books.... You can of course tear out the page yourself ;)
Just kidding: look at the APress site, and you;ll find what you need.

While typing this post, I was listening to: Bury Me by Hed Planet Earth (Track 3 from the album: Blackout ) What's This?

The fact is WROX (Wiley) Does not own the books - the printers do. EVen if Wiley wanted to have the "Wrox" scratched out on the books, they can't have it done. I am sure APRESS would rather that the books hold their information, since they own the books now. But they can't have that done either, as they don't own the books.

The printers that have the book in stock can sell them- as they stand. No one can do anything about that- which is why there are still books out there with the wrong information in it.

BTW- I know for a fact that the book in question can be found on "The other web site" because I saw it there.

This information is clearly provided at the top of the DOWNLOAD CODE page. If your frustrated, be frustrated with yourself for not reading the instructions.
