Default XML Multilingual content

Hi,

I was wondering how to access multilingual XML content.

Let's say there is this XML data:
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<languages>
  <language xml:lang="en">
    <title>English Title</title>
  </language>
  <language xml:lang="it">
    <title>Italian Title</title>
  </language>
  <language xml:lang="de">
    <title>German Title</title>
  </language>
</languages>
How would you access the different data?

Thanks,

Udo

Do you want to use XSLT/XPath to access the data? Then you can make use of the XPath 'lang' function http://www.w3.org/TR/xpath#function-lang e.g.
Code:
/languages/language[lang('en')]/title
selects the title element of all English language elements.

There's a special function for this:

//language/title[lang('en')]

The special function has the advantage that it deals with variants like en-US and en-GB.
